This is deeply sad news. Peter was a friend with whom I shared countless meetings and dinners. More importantly, Corien and I shared wonderful hikes and outings with him and his wife Andrea. I remember Peter as a strong diplomat, a wise and kind colleague, and a champion of fine humour. Our thoughts are with Andrea and their two daughters. May he rest in peace.
