Difficult to accept the sad fact an esteemed colleague and a dear friend, Ambassador Peter Zingraf passed away. I first met him in Albania shortly after my arrival in Tirana. He was a kind soul, an experienced and wise colleague with whom it was a pleasure to consult. On behalf of my own and the Turkish Embassy in Tirana, I convey our sincere condolences to family members and our German colleagues in Tirana.
